A ceramic coating is a liquid protectant that bonds to your car's clear coat and hardens into a thin, clear layer. It sits on top of the paint and takes the abuse from weather, dirt and chemicals so your clear coat doesn't.

Unlike wax or sealant, which wear off in weeks or months, a ceramic coating is rated in years, and we offer several levels of durability.

Yes. New Jersey roads get covered in salt and liquid brine all winter, and that's tough on paint and lower panels. A coating gives salt and slush a slick surface that rinses off instead of clinging, which makes winter washes faster and more effective.

Getting coated before or during winter means your car starts the season protected. You'll still want to wash it regularly to get salt off, especially underneath, but the paint will clean up much more easily.

One-step paint correction is a single machine polishing pass. It reduces light swirl marks, micro scratches, haze and wash marring, and brings back clarity and depth. The ceramic coating then locks in that mirror-like finish.

One-step correction is included with every package. It improves most paint a lot, but it won't remove deep scratches you can feel with a fingernail, rock chips, or damaged clear coat.

Every package gets the same prep: paint decontamination with a clay bar treatment and one-step paint correction. The difference is the coating itself. Longer-rated coatings are more durable and hold their water beading longer. Pick based on how long you plan to keep the car.

Plan on 8 hours or more at the shop, with same-day turnaround in most cases. Drop off in the morning and pick up your car that evening. We'll confirm timing when we call to schedule.

Interior ceramic coating protects seats, carpet, fabric and door panels from stains and spills. It requires an interior detail first, and the coating is priced separately.

Interior detailing isn't included, but we can schedule it for the same visit or another day.

Sedans and coupes are standard size. Hatchbacks, crossovers, midsize and full-size SUVs, minivans, pickup trucks of any size, and 8-passenger or 10–12 passenger vans count as larger vehicles and are priced $200 higher. Not sure? Pick the closest option and we'll confirm when we call.

Yes. The service takes a minimum of 8 hours, so we ask that you drop off your car in the morning. In most cases it's ready for pickup the same day, and we'll let you know as soon as it's done.

Hand wash only. Avoid touchless and tunnel car washes. Their harsh chemicals and brushes can wear down the coating and degrade its water-beading and gloss over time.

Join our maintenance wash program. We offer weekly, monthly and quarterly hand-wash plans using coating-safe products, the easiest way to keep your car looking like the day you picked it up. Ask us about it at pickup.

Yes. Your coating is warrantied for the length of the package you choose: 1, 3 or 5 years. The warranty depends on proper maintenance, including hand washing and following the aftercare instructions we give you.

No coating makes paint scratch-proof or chip-proof. A ceramic coating resists light wash marring, chemicals, salt and UV, and makes the car much easier to keep clean. Protection from rock chips and deeper scratches requires paint protection film (PPF).

Yes. It's the best time to coat. New cars often arrive with swirl marks from dealer washes, and our one-step correction removes them before the coating locks in that finish from day one.

Yes. If your offer is accepted, that's the price, with no added fees. If it's close but not quite there, you'll get one counteroffer that's good for 24 hours. You decide whether to take it.
